Dr.Farda Akgun

Spent more than decade serving to petroleum industry. Throughout his career he had a chance to work in different countries from North America to Middle East and Australia, participated in cutting edge research projects in world’s most respectable institutions, consulted major oil companies and conducted industry short courses in addition to Industry wide seminars conducted in house training courses in Abu Dhabi, UAE (ADMA_OPCP.ZADCO), Indonesia (P.T.EXSPAN ), ARAMCO Saudi Arabian Texaco. Kuwait , Vietnam and Australia.
Authored more than 20 papers on new developments and technical issues in the area of drilling engineering, edited and refereed technical papers in the respectable journals such as Journals of energy Resources –ASME.
Educated and supervised graduate students in higher education such as University Of new South Wales Sydney, Curtin University Perth ands UAE University United Arab Emirates.Graduated With PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School Of Mines in 1989, member of the society of petroleum Engineering for 18 Years.

David Andrew Price

As training professional with over 20 Years experience in various position in the oil Industry used to working in locations around the world. Considerable experience in all aspects trainings from assessment of trainings needs, development of trainings programs and materials through to delivery of training course. Experience of trainings requirements from the point of view of services companies, drilling contractors and now as an independent consultant. Member of International Well Control Forums and holds B.Sc Geological Science from University Of Birmingham, UK.

Van Wilpe Gerrit

Worked with major oil companies as Assistant Driller, Driller, Drilling Supervisor and Senior Drilling Supervisor, promoted to Drilling Manager, during his career of more than 30 years, he worked both off-shore and on-shore, the type of wells included land wells, work over wells, extended reach horizontal production wells and deep water exploration wells, including production tests from a dynamically positioned semi-submersible drilling rig. During his career he worked 5 years as a senior instructor, lecturing in the company’s training centre and lecturing at the Technical University in Delft (The Netherlands).He conducted various courses for a variety of oil companies. the courses include: IWCF pressure control, advanced pressure control, well design, casing string design, Jarring, Shell Round-I and Round-II preparation, Stuck Pipe prevention.
Holds B.Sc in Automotive engineering and M Sc in Petroleum engineering.

Dr Ergun Kuru

Began his career as drilling engineer trainee then student assistant, research assistant, research associate, senior research associate and assistant professor. teaching courses of oil well drilling of completion petroleum production operation, well logging & formation evaluation, drilling fluids laboratory and advanced drilling engineering(Graduate Level),
Graduated with M.Sc & PhD Petroleum engineering from Louisiana State University (USA) and B.Sc Petroleum Engineering from Middle East Technical University ,Turkey.
